AN ALMOST HALF A MILLION PESOS WAS CHARGED TO DOG OWNER BY HER NEIGHBOR TO GET HER SHIHTZU BACK


Humans usually love animals, sometimes it became their house pets. It maybe a cat, fish, birds, monkey, dogs and more. Dogs are the most pets in the house and we treat them as one of our family member.



We are emotionally attached on our pets and we cared so much. However, in the case of neighbors Linda Castillo and Beth Lingat, a pet dog became the reason for their friendship to fall apart.


According to their stories to Raffy Tulfo's, Beth Lingat wanted to borrowed her Shih Tzu dog to Linda Castillo from which she temporarily left the dog.


When the two parties had a confrontation at Raffy Tulfo’s public service program, Beth’s son Gabby said that the Shih Tzu dog was his gift for his mother. However since her mother would often travel to other places to visit their properties, she decided to ask her neighbor Linda to look after the dog whenever she is away.


But whenever Beth would fetch the dog at Linda’s house, she always gives excused that the dog is not home or is sick leaving the dog under Linda’s care for the past 4 years.


Because of this, Linda is now claiming to be the owner of the dog since according to her Beth is not even giving her financial support for the dog’s food and medical expenses.


When Tulfo asked what would it take for Linda to calmly turn over the dog, Linda demanded an almost P500, 000 total amount in all the expenses she spent for the dog in the last 4 years.


According to Beth and Gabby, Linda also demanded P10, 000 before but when they already filed a complaint at the barangay, Linda would not show up during hearings.


In the end, daughters of Linda surrender the dog to Beth. Mr. Raffy Tulfo intended to give a puppy to Linda as a gift to vanished her longing but she refused the offer because she already have 12 dogs she is currently taking care of.
