Eula Valdes revealed the dynamics of her mother-and-son relationship with only child, Miguel. Even though her son Miguel is just starting his acting, he’s already at ease with the camera.
The 49-year-old actress revealed how it was like working with her son on screen for the first time:
“Nung unang eksena namin together, that was the first time na makikita ko siyang umarte talaga. Siyempre, satisfied ako. Kasi baguhan siya e, and yet ang mga kaeksena niya Shamaine Buencamino, Dexter Doria, Noel Trinidad, Ricky Davao. Proud mother ako.”
In front of the camera, Miguel is a tough actor who’s always ready for the scenes.
Aside from her first experience with her son on-screen, Eula Valdes also revealed a juicy snippet on “Tonight With Boy Abunda.”
According to the actress, there are times when Miguel’s sweetness was mistaken for something else.
When they are out in public, people often mistake Miguel as Eula’s younger boyfriend! This is because the loving son isn’t afraid to show his affection to his mother at all times:
“Kasi si Miguel ay malambing na anak. Kapag nasa mall kami, he would hold my hand and mahilig siyang humalik. Minsan humahalik yan sa lips.”
To prevent misleading ideas, the mother and son thought of a witty solution. Sometimes when they’re outside, they each wore custom-made shirts with mother and son label on them.
This way, people can take their dirty looks and malicious assumptions elsewhere.
