OFW WHO BURNED BY HER EMPLOYER THROUGH BOILED WATER IS NOW HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES

One of our OFW who was maltreated by her employer in the Saudi Arabia is now filled of happiness because she came back here in the Philippines after a nightmare she experienced in other country.

Pahima Alagasi left her hometown in Pikit, North Cotabato last March 2014 to provide the needs of her family by working abroad.

While she is working in Saudi Arabia as domestic helper, unintentionally she fell the cap of thermos which led her employer to pour unto her the boiled water. It was became viral on social media because of the tragic experience she had suffered.

She appealed to Saudi government but the court dismissed the case and her employer filed case against her because of her post in social media about her situation.

Our government talked to Saudi government for release of Pahima. And it is successfully done.

Now, after 4 years she came back in our country. She is very limited in talking about her experienced because it recalls the nightmare she was into before. ACTS OFW Representative John Bertiz asked the media that Pahima is not yet ready to talk about it and let her rest first after her long travel.

Pahima said that only her children who gave her strenght to fight on the situation.

According to Philippine Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Adnan Alonto Pahima it was our President Duterte who asked help to Saudi Prince and Interior Minister Abdulaziz Saud Bin Naif the situation of Pahima when they visited the Philippines last March 19, 2018.

Pahima Alagasi personally thanked Foreign Affairs Sec. Alan Peter Cayetano and she will meet President Duterte in Davao City.
